# Refund policy

At Lampiero, two different return routes may apply depending on the situation:

1. your 14-day legal right of withdrawal under EU consumer rules
2. our separate 30-night sleep guarantee for the Lampiero lamp

## 1. legal right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day of delivery, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, email jean@lampiero.com before the 14-day period expires with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

After sending your withdrawal notice, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after that notice.

Under the legal right of withdrawal, you may handle the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. If the goods are returned with handling beyond that standard, we may apply a deduction for diminished value where permitted by law.

Unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, the direct cost of return shipping is borne by the customer.

## 2. 30-night sleep guarantee for Lampiero lamps

In addition to your statutory rights, Lampiero offers a 30-night sleep guarantee for the Lampiero red night light.

You may use the lamp for up to 30 nights from the date of delivery. If, after using it as intended, you are not satisfied, email jean@lampiero.com within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange your return.

For returns under the 30-night sleep guarantee:
- the lamp does not need to be unused
- it must be returned in reasonable condition, with its charger and included accessories
- proof of purchase is required
- the customer bears the return shipping cost unless the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described

Items sent back without prior return approval will not be accepted.

## 3. damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, email jean@lampiero.com without delay with your order number and, if possible, photos of the issue.

## 4. non-returnable items

Gift cards, personalised items, and any item intentionally damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.

## 5. refund timing

For the legal right of withdrawal, refunds are issued within 14 days from the day we are informed of the withdrawal, but we may defer reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back, whichever comes first.

For approved returns under the 30-night sleep guarantee or for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return has been received and inspected.
